The Indiana Fire Chiefs Association will award TEN (10) conference participants a scholarship to pay for half, $75.00, of a full conference registration ($150.00) to attend the 2010 Indiana Emergency Response Conference being held August 11-14, 2010, in downtown Indianapolis . This scholarship program is made possible by the generous support of our conference vendor, American Fire Training Systems, Inc. On behalf of the IFCA, we would like to thank American Fire Training Systems, Inc. for their support.  Please note: Per vendor request, this scholarship is limited to fire-based applicants.

Scholarships will be awarded based on the applicant's description of how the department or the attendee will benefit from attendance. Applicants for the scholarships must be members of the IFCA. Applicants will be notified by July 31st. Please contact IFCA Executive Director Terry Rake at 317-733-1850 with any questions regarding the scholarship program or application process. Deadline for receipt of all applications is July 15th, 2010.

The awards program this year will bring all of the hardworking responders in Indiana together for one night of recognition and camaraderie. We know that there are individuals and divisions that sacrifice their time and energy for the greater good of your organization. If you would like to recognize those in your organization by nominating an individual or division that has stepped up to provide leadership in the last year, please see the nomination guidelines below.

Individuals or divisions chosen will be honored at the 2010 IERC Awards Banquet on August 13, 2010. Please contact Joe Kruzan or Danny Sink of the Indiana Fire Chiefs Association with any questions regarding the nomination process. We need to receive ALL nominations by August 4th, 2010.  Thank you in advance for your time and consideration. 

  1. Nominations are not restricted to IFCA members, but you must be an IFCA member to submit a nomination.
  2. Nominations shall be accompanied by a letter explaining how the nominee meets the criteria below.
  3. Nominations need to be sent on the department's letterhead.
