Certification at the Indiana Emergency Response Conference
Participants who need to track course attendance for certifications will be able to obtain a printout online after the conference. You will not be required to get signatures from speakers as proof of course attendance and certificates will not be printed to show course participation. Approximately one week after the conference a link to a website will be provided that allows you to access your certificates online using your email address for verification. The site stays up for a minimum of six months.
Once in the site, you will be able to view your sessions and credits and can choose to print out your certificate then or at any time at your convenience.
The conference name badge will allow registered attendees who will be attending workshops at the Indiana Emergency Response Conference quick and accurate track registration and attendance at sessions and workshops. You can simply scan your own name badge when entering each class. Stationary hand - held scanners will be located at the entrance of each classroom for your convenience.
A bar code generated summary will be turned in to the State by the IERC staff as proof of attendance if audited. You will need to keep your own record of course attendance and then turn in those hours to the State during the recertification cycle. Do not send in the course attendance prior to recertification as there could be a possibility of information getting lost.
