Pike Twp FD is proud to again host an 8 hour ‘Train the Trainer’ on Hybrid Vehicle Extrication & Safety. The class will be taught by Matt Stroud of MGS Tech, one of the featured instructors at FDIC. Each student completing the class will receive an instructional guide, Hybrid Response Safety Guide, and be certified to teach this program to their own personnel. This is a highly entertaining class that puts the complexities of hybrid vehicle response into clear and simple terms. More information can be found at MGStech.net Cost is only $100/student- less than half the cost of comparable classes. Bunker gear is NOT required!

Train the Trainer Course Description:
Train the Trainer is an all day course tailored to enable Training Officers to teach the New Technology/Hybrid Safety course to Firefighters in their departments. Based on the standard course curriculum, the Train the Trainer is much more detailed, providing in-depth information that will allow Training Officers the ability to confidently answer questions posed to them. Each Training Officer will receive a copy of the PowerPoint presentation to customize for the training needs of their own department and a copy of the Hybrid Response Guide (HRG).
