District One is hosting the Wide Area Search (WAS) course on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, March 2-3-4, 2012 at LaPorte County/Michigan City Emergency Operations Center (EOC). The WAS course is 24-hours, three days in length, eight hours of instruction each day.
Course Topics: - Preparedness - Search Management and Planning - Mapping - Search Strategies and Skills -Communication - Team Management - Table Top Exercise (TTX)
District 1 has worked hard to be able to put on this class in our district and we need a good district representation there. Take advantage of this great training opportunity.
